About 1 in 8 couples in the United States suffer from some sort of infertility, or the inability to conceive children on their own after 6 to 12 months. Infertility treatments are quite frequently very expensive and most insurance companies only cover the diagnosis. The average cost of one round of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) costs around $15,000. This leave many loving couples in a difficult position in order to start or continue building their families. This can mean taking out loans, taking our second mortgages on houses, or even cashing out their retirement funds. The Hope for Fertility Foundation was established in 2016 as a way to raise infertility awareness and to help eligible couples offset the high costs of fertility treatments. The Hope for Fertility Foundation is a nonprofit organization under IRC 501(c)3 with its base of operations located in Orem, Utah.
