One or more fertilized eggs (embryos) may be transferred into the woman's uterus, where they may implant in the uterine lining and develop. 09 Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) In the ICSI process, a tiny needle, called a micropipette, is used to inject a single sperm into the center of the egg.
