Aberdeen Fertility Centre

Very poor experience so far. Unable to find you in their system. Arranging for an appointment and yet sending you the letter with completely different details, time etc. Drop off appointment changed to a normal hospital appointment then changed again but the sample kit wasn't posted. Trip is down in 4 days, no kit, no contact absolutely disgusting. Having serious doubts if we should go ahead with the whole process. As no drivers train and hotel is booked and if the pot is not provided by Tuesday, from the hospital I will demand full refund for the trip and will take the matter further, including newspapers and social media.

We have been attending the clinic for many years now and the staff are amazing. Our most recent round has been the most supported with the team going above and beyond to look after us and offer us top medical and mental support.   They are helpful and supportive the the standards are high.  We always felt looked after even during the pandemic where things were confusing and delayed the staff done there utmost to keep us up to date even though they could not proved evey detail as they did not know themselves they never ignored us. When we were able to resume our round even when my fiance was unable to attend with me the staff kept my nerves at bay and kept me calm. The nhs is amazing and we are always grateful for all help but the clinic in particularly recently for us deserve recognition for being top class. Thank you to you all.

The Aberdeen Fertility Centre was founded in 1985 by Professor Allan Templeton to provide fertility services within the North East of Scotland. The Fertility Centre initially provided donor insemination treatment and the first baby conceived through gamete donation was born in 1986. A number of innovative research projects led to the creation of an in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) service in 1988, leading to the first IVF baby in 1989.
